Job description

Our client are looking for a Scrum Master to join their team, they are a technology company who allow for creative flow across the production life cycle across the media and entertainment industries!

They require a Scrum Master to help the company support its scrum team to support its goals and achieve the long term product vision. You will be given the opportunity to work with several technical experts in their fields. You will also ensure persistent development of SAFe and Agile practises in the organisation. As the Scrum Master you will bring value and the ability to coach the Scrum team to deliver and execute goals. 

This role is based in Leamington Spa and supports flexible working

Role: Scrum Master 
Location: Fully Remote - Leamington Spa Offices
Salary: Up to £75,000

Responsibilities 
  • Lead the Scrum team in using SAFe and Agile methodology
  • Remove impediments for the team and coach the team on removing impediments 
  • Track and monitor Scrum team progress and metrics
  • Reporting progress to planned commitments for milestones and product releases
  • Facilitate all of the Agile and SAFe ceremonies
  • Help the Scrum team develop their Scrum maturity and support other organisational development
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog making sure it is refined, managed and maintained 
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of practical experience as a Scrum Master leading Scrum teams 
  • Ability demonstrate proficient use of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence tools. An understanding of JIRA workflows and JQL is beneficial but not essential 
  • Both social- and self-awareness (EQ) to manage relationships in the face of complex challenges
  • Ability to work closely with many roles in the organisation, including Product Owners, UX and UI Designers, Architects, Developers, DevOp Engineers, Quality Engineers 
  • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills, and a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Excellent organisation and time management 
  • Get it done attitude
  • Scrum Master certification is beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability and willingness to travel to Royal Leamington Spa office for one day, bi-weekly
