Job description

We're looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our digital Team in our Manchester or Leeds office. This will be a great opportunity for anyone looking to be involved in a Design based company with more progression opportunities and to work across/learn tech to add to their stack that isn't just PHP.

Role: Senior Web Developer (Laravel)
Salary £50-£55k
Location: Manchester/Leeds (With UK based remote working)
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using PHP, ensuring high-quality code and adhering to best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
To be entrusted with coming up with ideas to present to the development team for possible solutions around issues.
Assist in the testing and deployment of applications, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and platforms

Requirements

Proven experience working as a PHP Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful web application projects
Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
Knowledge of modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
Experience with database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
