Senior SQL Developer
Location: Remote (Once a month max commute to Derbyshire office)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 + £5,000 Annual training budget

An exciting opportunity for a number of SQL Developer to join a truly innovative organisation who are on the look of for Medium and Senior Level Developers to join their Warehouse Development team. You will be working on the applications that drive operations within the warehouse, integrating with state-of-the-art automation equipment including sorters and automated storage and retrieval systems, migrating existing systems to a modern Warehouse Management System, and much more.

Description and role:
- Developing a wide variety of applications to support our business
- Interpreting requirements into working code
- Using an Agile Development Process
- Developing, testing and implementing code to departmental standards
- Working to plans / deadlines provided, escalating issues as appropriate
- Producing documentation and ensuring proposed solutions are fit for purpose
- Ensuring that communication to the business is professional, clear and appropriate
- Performing maintenance programming and correction of defects
Experiance required:
- A thorough understanding of SQL, either Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ or Oracle PL-SQL
- Experience debugging database related problems
- Database design & implementation skills
- Keen attitude towards learning and progressing your technical skills
- Strong communication skills and able to work with non-technical stakeholders
- Natural problem solver, able to use your own initiative
- C#, .Net
- WPF, Win Forms
- ETL best practices and other large data movements
- Kafka
- Containers
- Azure
- Devops
- Experience with WMS
