Job description

A fourth generation family-run hand tools manufacturer, with their employees at the heart of everything they do, is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Executive to join their highly motivated team.
Founded in the heart of Germany, they have significantly increased their presence internationally with a growing team operating in the UK.

The right candidate will be creative, and driven by their passion for social media and brand story telling. Alongside the Marketing Manager, they will work to deliver the entire social media strategy, from planning through to implementation, working to showcase the brand throughout the UK.

Location: Leeds (hybrid - 5 days a week in office whilst training)
Salary: Up to 28k (plus 15% KPI focused bonus)

  • At least two years experience in a Social Media focused role
  • Educated to degree level within a relevant discipline/completed apprenticeship in Digital marketing
  • A valid driving licence is preferred 
  • Confident developing a strategic Social Media plan and executing it across all channels
  • Strong video and content creation experience, happy to execute that content in line with the content calendar
  • Community management experience, working to engage with the customer community through social listening
  • Capable of executing campaign performance analysis and reporting on successes/weaknesses throughout those campaigns
  • Happy to assist with hosting and creating content at events throughout the country and beyond, including conferences, exhibitions and customer visits
  • Excited by international travel - this role has the opportunity to visit the head office in Germany at least twice a year
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • A strong communicator, willing to work as part of a team, but also happy to work autonomously within time frames and budgets to produce excellent work
