Job Title: System Engineer
Location: Preston, UK (Hybird)
Salary: Total package £60k - base salary £40k-£50k + Bonus & Car Allowance

Position Overview:
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the designing, implementing, and supporting IT systems. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the technology stack, ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the following technologies:

Key Technologies:

• Citrix
• Microsoft Intune
• VMWare
• Hyper-V
• Office 365
• On-premises Data Centre experience

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain systems and applications based on the specified technology stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Citrix, Intune, VMWare, Hyper-V, Office 365, and on-premises data centre.
• Provide support for system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimisations for enhanced efficiency.
• Work closely with other IT professionals to implement and maintain security best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on the specified technology stack.
• Strong proficiency in Citrix, Intune, VMware, Hyper-V, Office 365, and on-premises data centre technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and services.
