Position: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Leicester (Hybrid)
Salary: £55,000 per annum (plus bonus)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Analyse complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise reports, dashboards, and visualisations using tools like Power BI.
  • Utilise SQL and other data manipulation techniques to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency through data analysis.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure accurate data collection, storage, and integration from various sources.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data-rich environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • Strong experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI to create insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field is a plus.
  • Experience with programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
