Position Overview:
As an IT Delivery Manager specialising in complex data migrations and large datasets, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of data migration projects for our clients. Your expertise in managing intricate data sets and navigating challenging migration scenarios will be instrumental in ensuring seamless transitions and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams consisting of data engineers, analysts, and technical specialists throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data migration requirements, develop comprehensive project plans, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including migration strategies, data mapping, risk assessments, and progress reports.
  • Identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies to address technical and operational obstacles during data migrations.
  • Define and implement best practices for data validation, quality assurance, and testing to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to project milestones and delivering projects within scope.
  • Provide effective communication and status updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns, and maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data management to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience as an IT Delivery Manager or Project Manager in complex data migration projects involving large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in project management or data management are desirable.
