Structured Cabling Engineer - Copper Specialist (London & Surrounding Areas)

Pay: 28,000 + bonuses + overtime available

Role Overview

We're seeking experienced Structured Cabling Engineers with a strong background in first and second fix copper installations to join our growing team. You'll be working on commercial and industrial sites, delivering high-quality structured cabling solutions for data and voice networks.
This is a hands-on role for engineers who take pride in precision, reliability, and working to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a copper cabling
• 
  Carry out first fix (containment, trunking, conduit, basket) and second fix (cable pulling, dressing, patching)
• 
  Test and certify copper cabling using Fluke or equivalent testers
• 
  Read and interpret site drawings and cabling schematics
• 
  Work alongside project managers and site teams to ensure timely delivery
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of installations and test results
• 
  Adhere to health & safety and site compliance standards

Requirements

• 
  Proven experience in structured cabling and copper installations
• 
  Skilled in first and second fix techniques
• 
  Familiarity with Fluke DTX or DSX testers (or similar)
• 
  CSCS/ECS card (preferred)
• 
  Full UK driving licence
• 
  Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• 
  Ability to work independently or as part of a team
