Role Overview

We're seeking skilled Fibre Splicing Engineers to support ongoing fibre rollout projects across London. This is a price work role ideal for professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality installations and testing with efficiency and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Fusion splicing of fibre optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode)
• 
  Fibre installation, termination, and testing using OTDR and power meter
• 
  Fault-finding and maintenance of fibre networks
• 
  Reading and interpreting site plans and fibre schematics
• 
  Recording splicing and test results accurately
• 
  Collaborating with site teams to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• 
  Proven experience in fibre splicing and testing
• 
  Proficiency with OTDR, light source, and power meter tools
• 
  Must have own van and tools
• 
  CSCS/ECS card or equivalent (preferred)
• 
  Full UK driving licence
• 
  Need gangs of 2 (after 6 splicers overall)
