Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager - Structured Cabling | £55,000-£65,000 + Commission | London
Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Structured Cabling and ICT solutions division in London and surrounding areas. You will focus on winning new business, nurturing key client relationships, and delivering strong sales and margin performance.
You'll represent the full range of company services, collaborating closely with operations and project teams to deliver tailored connectivity and infrastructure solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
• 
  Identify and secure new business opportunities in structured cabling, fibre, and ICT connectivity.
• 
  Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• 
  Lead solution development and coordinate internal resources to meet client requirements.
• 
  Prepare and present high-quality tenders, proposals, and sales presentations.
• 
  Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates.
• 
  Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and promote repeat business.
• 
  Support strategic sales growth initiatives in collaboration with the Sales Director.

Skills & Experience

• 
  Proven experience in business development or technical sales, ideally within structured cabling, ICT, electrical, or fibre connectivity.
• 
  Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify profitable opportunities.
• 
  Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• 
  Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple opportunities.
• 
  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 
  Full UK driving licence required.

Location
London - Hybrid / Field-Based
Regular travel across London and nearby regions for client and site visits.
