About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Improver for a national rollout project upgrading electrical systems in commercial buildings.
The role focuses on installing containment systems including trunking, basket, tray, and conduit during night shifts to minimise disruption to building operations.
This position is ideal for a contractor looking to gain experience on large-scale commercial projects while working alongside qualified electricians.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Install containment systems: trunking, conduit, basket, and tray.
• 
  Assist in systems upgrade projects across commercial buildings.
• 
  Support qualified electricians to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
• 
  Follow technical drawings and site specifications accurately.
• 
  Comply with all health & safety regulations.
• 
  Maintain tools, equipment, and a tidy work environment.
• 
  Work the night shift from 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM.

Requirements

• 
  Previous experience as an electrical improver or in electrical installation.
• 
  Knowledge of containment systems (trunking, conduit, basket, tray).
• 
  Ability to follow site procedures and work safely.
• 
  Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• 
  CSCS/ECS card preferred.
• 
  Own PPE and hand tools.
• 
  Flexibility to work night shifts and travel nationally.
