Electrician - Nights (Contractor)

🕒 Shift: 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM
💷 Rate: £270-£320 per shift

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Electricians for a national rollout project upgrading electrical systems in commercial buildings.
The role involves installing containment systems (trunking, basket, tray, conduit) and supporting systems upgrades during night shifts to minimise disruption.
Qualified electricians with SSSTS and First Aid certifications are required due to site safety standards and working across multiple commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Install containment systems: trunking, conduit, basket, and tray.
• 
  Perform electrical systems upgrades in commercial buildings.
• 
  Follow technical drawings and site specifications accurately.
• 
  Ensure all work meets health & safety standards.
• 
  Maintain tools, equipment, and a tidy work environment.
• 
  Collaborate with project teams to deliver projects on schedule.
• 
  Work the night shift from 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM.

Requirements

• 
  Qualified Electrician (17th Edition / relevant UK qualifications).
• 
  SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) required.
• 
  First Aid certification required.
• 
  Experience installing containment systems (trunking, conduit, basket, tray).
• 
  Ability to work safely and follow site procedures.
• 
  CSCS/ECS card preferred.
• 
  Own PPE and hand tools.
• 
  Flexibility to work night shifts and travel nationally.
