Ready to take the lead in IT support?
We're looking for a Senior IT Field Engineer to join a fast-moving, client-focused MSP environment. This is a role where your expertise will shine-not just behind a screen, but out in the field, working directly with clients and solving complex technical challenges.
Around 60% of your time will be spent on customer sites (within 50 miles of Silchester), with the remainder based in our modern office. No two days are the same-you'll be tackling escalations, leading projects, mentoring colleagues, and making sure our clients' systems run seamlessly.
What we're looking for
- Solid MSP background in a customer-facing role
- Expertise with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Autopilot
- Experience with VMware/Hyper-V, Rirewalls, backup, email security - Strong networking knowledge: LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, MFA, wireless
- IT certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, etc.) are a big plus

What you'll be doing
- Acting as the go-to technical expert for our customers-remote and onsite
- Leading end-to-end project delivery from implementation to support
- Troubleshooting servers, desktops, networking, and cloud platforms
- Working with Windows Server, Azure, M365, AD, VMware/Hyper-V, Exchange - Conducting site surveys, documentation, and technical handovers
- Mentoring the support team & assisting with pre-sales activities
