UX/UI Designer

We are partnering with a high-energy, creative-led startup building a completely new category in the HR AI space. They are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join their small, founder-led team. You will be responsible for designing the complete candidate and hirer journey, ensuring that every interaction-from the AI-assisted interview flow to cinematic storytelling interfaces-is simple, emotional, and intuitive.

Job - UX/UI Designer

Salary - up to £90K

Location - London (hybrid)

Responsibilities-

• Design and iterate on the entire user experience for both candidates and hiring managers, from first interaction to final match.
• Transform complex AI and adaptive systems into simple, joyful user experiences, prototyping new ways of interacting (voice, motion, micro-interactions).
• Create and refine a scalable design system that balances motion, sound, and narrative storytelling.
• Contribute to the evolution of the brand's tone, texture, and visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging rapid prototyping, testing, and open creative debate to move ideas into clarity quickly.

Experience -

• 3-7+ years of proven experience in UX/UI, Product, or Digital Design.
• Strong track record in agency, studio, startup, or scale-up environments where you've turned ambiguity into clear, intuitive systems.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, storytelling, and emotion through design, specifically showing work that blends interaction, motion, and narrative.
• Strong grasp of typography, hierarchy, grid, and visual clarity, with a curiosity about how AI, data, or adaptive systems influence product experiences.
