Account Manager - Cyber Security Consultancy (Pen Testing)

Our client, a respected and fast-growing cyber security consultancy specialising in penetration testing, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team and take ownership of a portfolio of high-value clients across the North.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a trusted consultancy known for delivering expert, ethical, and highly technical security services to organisations across the UK.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a mix of existing and new clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and access to the full suite of penetration testing and cyber security solutions.
You'll focus on:

• 
  Managing and growing a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise customers
• 
  Identifying new opportunities within accounts and upselling relevant security services
• 
  Advising clients on pen testing scopes and coordinating with technical teams
• 
  Building long-term relationships with CISOs, IT leaders, and security stakeholders
• 
  Ensuring smooth delivery of engagements and maintaining high customer satisfaction
• 
  Supporting proposals, presentations, and renewal cycles

This role is client-centric, with a balance of relationship management, consultative selling, and commercial ownership.

What We're Looking For

• 
  Strong B2B Account Management experience (cyber security or technology preferred)
• 
  Knowledge of penetration testing, offensive security, or broader cyber services
• 
  Confidence working with senior security and technical decision-makers
• 
  Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into service opportunities
• 
  Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
• 
  A proactive, commercially minded approach
