About the Role

We are recruiting a reliable Contract Labourer to support a structured cabling project in Birmingham from January to April 2025. The role involves assisting engineers with Cat6 cabling installation and general site support duties.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop experience in data cabling.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Assist engineers with pulling, routing, and dressing Cat6 cabling
• 
  Support basic containment installation (tray, basket, trunking)
• 
  Move, carry, and organise materials and tools
• 
  Perform general labouring tasks on site
• 
  Maintain safe and tidy work areas
• 
  Follow instructions from senior engineers and supervisors

Requirements

• 
  Previous labouring experience on construction or fit-out sites (essential)
• 
  Any experience working with Cat6 cabling is an advantage
• 
  Valid ECS card required (CSCS not accepted)
• 
  Physically fit; comfortable with repetitive manual tasks
• 
  Reliable, punctual, team-focused, and eager to learn
