Data Cabling Engineer - Birmingham

£220 per day | Contract
We are currently looking for an experienced Data Cabling Engineer for ongoing work in Birmingham.

Scope of Work

• 
  Installation of structured cabling systems
• 
  Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6A terminations
• 
  Fibre optic cabling (pulling, terminating - splicing advantageous)
• 
  Installing and dressing cabinets, patch panels, and containment
• 
  Testing and fault finding
• 
  Working to drawings and site specifications

Requirements

• 
  Proven experience as a Data Cabling Engineer
• 
  Valid CSCS/ECS card
• 
  Own tools and PPE
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 
  IPAF / PASMA (preferred but not essential)

  Location: Birmingham
• 
  Rate: £220 per day
• 
  Hours: Typically 8-9 hours per day
• 
  Duration: Ongoing / long-term for the right candidate
• 
  Start: Immediate
