We're working with a fast-growing, international technology business operating at the forefront of immersive and extended reality experiences. The company blends advanced engineering with creative innovation to deliver large-scale, high-impact digital experiences worldwide.
They are looking for a hands-on HR Manager to oversee operational HR and People & Culture topics, with a strong focus on employment law. You will be the go-to contact for employees and managers, ensure legally compliant HR processes, and actively support the ongoing development of the organisation.
Salary - up to €61,000
Location - Munich (onsite)
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Maintain employee data and personnel files (Personio)
- Draft and manage contracts, amendments, references, and HR documents
- Handle absences, working time, sick leave, and HR-related inquiries
- Prepare HR data for payroll, benefits, parental leave, and special cases
- Independently manage day-to-day employment law matters and advise stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with labor law, data protection, and internal policies
- Create job ads, coordinate recruiting partners, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding
- Support performance reviews, development planning, and retention initiatives
- Maintain HR tools, workflows, documentation, and reporting
- Support audits, international assignments, work permits, and special HR topics
Requirements
- Several years of experience in operational HR with a focus on employment law
- Strong knowledge of German labor law
- Confident with HR tools, ideally Personio
- Structured, reliable, and discreet working style
- Excellent communication skills
- Native-level German and very good English
