Node/TypeScript Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has come up for an experienced Backend Software Engineer, to join a London-based team, on a full time basis. You'll be working in a high impact role on enterprise-level software for an innovative SaaS company based in the UK, looking to grow and enhance their core AI product.

Role: Senior Backend Engineer (Node, TypeScript, NestJS)
Location: 1 day a week in London, 4 days remote
Salary £90-£100k

Role and responsibilities

• To take ownership of key areas such as multi-user reliability and security. Writing, testing and deploying code that adheres to relevant coding and compliance standards.
• Building scalable APIs, integrations, event-driven systems and monitoring logs.
• Working alongside the Product Team and the Senior Management Team to get soar enterprise workflows over the line.
• To be proactive, engaged, and to thrive in a fast moving, high impact role that will adapt and evolve with the growth of the company

Skills

• Expert knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js
• Proficiency with Postgres and GraphQL
• Strong AWS infrastructure and cloud experience
• Experience building enterprise grade, multi-user software is essential.
• A track record in shipping systems that scale to real users
