We're looking for a Business Analyst to join a growing technology team where you'll play a key role in shaping software solutions from concept through to delivery. You'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and translated into successful technical outcomes.
The Role
Working as part of an Agile delivery team, you'll collaborate with business users, product owners and software engineers to understand business objectives, gather and document requirements, and ensure solutions deliver measurable value.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys stakeholder engagement as much as they enjoy analysing processes, documenting requirements and supporting software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify root causes and define project objectives.
- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements for technology projects.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Act as the link between business users and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support Product Owners and development teams by clarifying requirements and ensuring priorities remain aligned.
- Analyse business processes and recommend improvements that drive operational efficiency.
- Assist in defining technical solutions alongside developers and technical stakeholders.
- Support test planning, define acceptance criteria and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documentation standards and best practices.
About You
You'll ideally have experience working as a Business Analyst within an Agile software delivery environment and be confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You'll also have experience with:
- Business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Process mapping, workflow documentation and business process modelling.
- Stakeholder management across multiple business functions.
- Producing clear technical and business documentation.
- Understanding APIs, system integrations and data flows.
- Data mapping and business process analysis.
Desirable Skills
- SQL.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with analytics or digital tools such as Google Tag Manager, Hotjar or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting software testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
